Opportunity
We live in a constant state of becoming. No matter what that looks like. Time waits for no one. If you slow down long enough and have the courage to be honest with yourself, you can figure out who you have been and who are being.
Are you who you want to be? Are you being who you want people to remember you as?
Are you kind, giving, gracious, strong, bold, confident, loving, patient, smart, creative, or witty? Are you a good family member and a good friend? Are you a healthy productive member of your community? Are you a good son, daughter, brother, sister, father or mother? What words would you use to describe yourself? Stop and write them down. Now…What words do you WANT to use to describe yourself?
In an era filled with distractions, the real question we should be asking ourselves is…who am I becoming? Do you want to figure out what you’re really capable of?
In this moment there is only who you have been and who you will become. The choice is yours.
So…What will you do with your opportunity?
